There once lived a great king who grew old and weary.
And upon one evening, he called his subjects
and ordered them not to disturb his sleep even after the late morning hours.
The next morning at dawn, a rooster crowed in the distance, hailing the arrival of the sun.
That day, the king ordered all roosters within miles to be slain.
And in the evening, he feasted upon their flesh.
The next morning, the wind blew with might and caused the rustling of leaves.
That day, the king ordered all trees within miles to be uprooted from the earth,
that they should no longer disturb his dreams.
And the trees were used for firewood that evening.
The next morning, at dawn, an earthquake shook the king's bed with a loud rumbling
and caused a fire which was angered by the wind.
And the earth swallowed the king whole in flames.
And his sleep was honored forevermore.
