Three Friends

E-mail Print PDF

Once there lived three friends who belittled each other's talents.
Each of them took a different path in life.
The comic at heart became a musician.
The musician at heart became a poet.
And the poet at heart became a comic.
All were busy belittling each other, desiring to prove themselves to one another
that they became blind to their own talents.

Yesterday, I found them laughing, singing, and speaking in poetry.
They were reminiscing the days of youth perhaps.
All I could do is laugh.

Reflections

How privileged is he who composes the music of his life, to be played at his own funeral. It is a pity that we do not know that we are all composers in secret and that we each write our own cadences and requiems.
