Once a gracious king invited two other kings for a feast at his palace.
However, these other two kings were the leaders of rival armies.
The night of the feast, neither one came.
Both feared the risk of war or reconciliation.
That evening, the host king dined alone and his bread was mingled with tears and sorrow.

How privileged is he who composes the music of his life, to be played at his own funeral. It is a pity that we do not know that we are all composers in secret and that we each write our own cadences and requiems.
