There once lived two artists who sought total freedom and reign in expression.
The first artist emptied himself of all thoughts and feelings and in serenity,
resigned himself to silence atop a mountain, far from the world.
The other artist became crippled in speech and expression.
He became like a volcano whose mouth had been tightly sealed.
And after surrendering to his impotence, he resigned himself to silence also
atop the other side of the mountain, far from this world.
And now, one lives in ecstasy, the other in despair.
And yet, they both share the same Mountain of Silence.
