N.B. I did not mean to attack what you yourself explicitly stated (namely the modern individual's idolization of money). My point was rather addressed at the fact that whereas the "act of recognizing and accepting the choice, or accepting the responsibility for your life as it is, transforms the relationship you have with the world", it does not do much else. In order for the possibilities to change, then the attitude of society as a whole must change. New ideologies might bring about better myths. They will all be myths perhaps, and their authenticity depends on us, but I can of better myths and worse myths, and I'd rather authentically accept the former.
